Arosa in the canton of Grisons is one of the best-known tourist destinations in Switzerland. Even though a large part of the municipality's area is used for agriculture, the people of Arosa today live almost exclusively from tourism.

Nearly a million guests a year enjoy the special atmosphere of this world-famous health resort in both the summer and winter months.

The Arosa Lenzerheide ski resort was created in January 2014 through the merger with Lenzerheide. It is not only the largest continuous skiing area in Grisons, but also one of the ten best in the world. There are 41 cable car facilities available to skiers wanting to use the downhill runs from a height of up to 2,865 metres (Rothorn). In the Arosa holiday region, Arosa Bergbahnen AG is one of the largest employers and provides transport, food and drinks for visitors with its cable car operations, restaurants and ski bars.

REGUPOL everoll alpine – safety and quality

Just as quality is the primary corporate objective of Arosa Bergbahnen AG, we at REGUPOL also focus on achieving safety with quality products.

So it was only natural that the cable car operators should choose REGUPOL everroll alpine winter sports flooring for their valley and mountain stations, as well as their catering businesses. The decisive factor for the choice of REGUPOL floorings, which are made of different elastomers, is the slip resistance of the surface combined with the durability and elasticity of the material.

The installation of our winter sports floors in the Weisshorn cable car’s valley and mountain stations, as well as in the Sattelhütte mountain restaurant, demonstrates all the advantages they have to offer. The anti-slip surface of the flooring used here reduces the risk of slipping to a minimum, even in areas that regularly get wet (water, snow).

The PUR binder used in the floors also makes their surface repellent to water and dirt and thus makes cleaning very economical.

Rolls of REGUPOL everroll alpine floors are available in a width of 1,250 mm and in thicknesses of 6, 8 and 10 mm. The wide selection of decors available means the design possibilities set virtually no limits to your imagination and creativity. The individual objectives of every building project can be realised with a colour design all of its own.
